Late Mr Raj Singh Dungarpur a founder member of the World Cricket Academy (WCA), his vision to create something better for World Cricket gave birth to the idea of a World Cricket Academy (WCA).
Some Issues Facing The Sport:
Cricket is a mega-growth sports-based businesses in India - especially now since the advent of the IPL and 20-twenty cricket, but guidance and frameworks for the enhancement of talent is limited, specially in the rural areas.
Insufficient talent surfaces to the top.
No organization in the country caters to long term development needs for the available talent.
New Dimensions:
To develop a residential cricket school for the grass roots, which will use unique teaching methods and systems coupled with a minimum standards requirement which develops enhanced skill; all in a unique cricket environment under one roof.
